Hola!

I have a 64GB USB stick connected to the MSXVR
Suddenly it works ONLY with the MSXVR, and no others machines (PCs, NotebooKs....) reconize it...

Is there a way to copy the contents of the USB stick (connected to the MSXVR) from my PC through the network?

Hi mate.

Yes, you can connect your MSXVR to a PC throught SAMBA protocol on the host machine.
Activate samba on the PC and use mount command on the MSXVR side.

This is the tutorial for Windows 10. I think that Windows 7 is not too much difference.

efraimsangil has the best ever post to activate a user with SAMBA on Windows.
Follow it.
But if you have troubles with it, there is another solution.
Install filezilla. https://filezilla-project.org/
Its more tricky but has a manual in perfect english

@Rafa , what you want is for him to upload all the files from his USB connected to the MSXVR to an FTP site using "C:\>mount /rw b: FTP:user:password@dominio" and then download these files with the FileZilla you have installed on your Windows?

If he doesn't have an FTP site of his own, could he use msxlibrary?

As they commented, the best and most practical thing is to use SAMBA...

What exactly i would like is to be able to access the USB stick connected to the MSXVR from my PC.
Since this USB stick is only and only read by MSXVR, i would like to copy all of its content to my PC.

I also tried to insert an additional USB stick to the MSXVR and, through File Explorer, copy the contents of USB1 to USB2 but it is a very long job because it does not allow me to copy entire folders and sub-folders (only the files) and after some copied files, the MSXVR hang, and i have to force shutdown the machine...

Some time ago, I use filezilla in a PC with windows to create an "ftpserver" locally on my home network.
I have to do it because I can not create a user to activate the samba protocol.
When I activate the filezilla server, I can connect the MSXVR using mount to my PC running filezilla and copy files to/from it.
I use it to use VSCode to edit an VRScript project that I was developing.
But with the improvements that MSXVR has had, that was not necesary anymore.
That was my two pence
