Difference between Show Games and Show Files

Show Games: to see or download, information of the games but NOT run any game.
Show Files: to RUN games.
Configuration: The GLOBAL VM Params is to be able to set in a general way all the existing VM Params in the FILES ... in other words ... it is a global one ... whatever you put there affects all of them.
Show Games

If you choose Show Games, the second option in the menu will change to Games:

Update:

DMSX.ES: To download the whole Games Database from DMSX.ES [Dani Tear]. If you choose this option, you are going to download more than 5000 games information but not the binaries to run it.
After downloading the database, you must select Show Files and when you double click on a game, the system will ask you if you want to download the binary. Once downloaded, it will be executed and saved on the system forever, which means you don't need to download it again.
BDMSX CSV: It's to Open the .csv file from Araubi.

Screen Scrapper Folder: You need to choose the path of you binary files (games, apps) and GameDB will attempt to download the covers of those games or applications.
Clear DB Files: To remove Files database and create a new one.
Clear DB Games: To remove Games database and create a new one.

Delete: to remove this entry.
Update: To update this entry.
If you click in X to close this windows without any information, an empty record will be created.
Edit: to edit the record.

Run: To run the binary (game, application, etc)

Clear: To remove ALL records in the database. Be careful with this option.


Find: To find a game.

Update

File Folder: Indicate the path where the game or application binaries are located.
Image Folder: Indicate the path where the game or application binary images or cover art are located.
Recursive: Check this if you use subfolders.
Clear: To remove your current database.
The other menu options have the same functionality as in the Show Games > Games menu
